Baltimore Ravens 2010 Wide Receiver Preview
Anquan Boldin
The best thing that could have happened to Boldin is for him to
be traded to the Ravens. Not only did he escape having the great
Larry Fitzgerald stealing catches from him, but he also escaped
the loss of quarterback Kurt Warner in Arizona.
In Baltimore will be waiting one of the best young quarterbacks
in the NFL, Joe Flacco. Flacco threw for 3,613 yards and 21 touchdowns
in just his second year. And this was with very average receivers.
Putting Anquan Boldin in the offense should improve Flaccos' play,
improve the Raven's offense as a whole and make Boldin a highly
desired fantasy receiver.
Boldin already has two hundred plus catch seasons in his career
and he has topped 1,300 yards and 1,400 yard marks, so a big fantasy
season could be in store. He doesn't have the breakaway speed fantasy
owners desire, but is one of the toughest possession receivers in
the NFL. Thus, Boldin has more value with in PPR leagues.
