Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver 2010 Preview
Miles Austin
The breakout receiver of 2009 is poised to return in 2010 and have
another big fantasy season. Austin has the major requirements to
be a great fantasy receiver: A great quarterback a great offense
and big-play ability.
Tony Romo was able to leave his security blanket, Jason Witten,
and open up the offense with Miles Austin. While Witten will continue
to draw coverage over the middle, the Cowboys #1 draft-pick, Dez
Bryant, will stretch the defenses and keep some double-coverage
away from Austin. You add Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton to the
mix and the Cowboy offense will be rolling with Austin as its receiving
centerpiece.
The fact that the Cowboys have so many weapons will limit the looks
and touchdowns Austin will get in 2010, but with the limited double-coverage,
Miles will be able to work the sidelines for plenty of big gains
and big fantasy numbers.
