7. Zach Randolph - New York
He plays for the Knicks and that automatically brings him down a
notch. You never know what the Knicks are going to do, such as trade
anyone of their players or hire a new coach. He also has no true
point guard on the team. He has shoot first and maybe pass later
guards on his team. Other than that, he could be a threat to go
20 and 10 again but I doubt it.
2008 Statistics:
17.4 Pts -10.2 Reb - 2.0 Ast
2009 Projection: 18.2
Pts - 10.8 Reb - 2.2 Ast
8. David West - New Orleans
David West is a very consistent player that benefits from great
guard play. The one problem i have with him is his inability to
stay healthy in back to back seasons. I do think this will be the
year he averages over 70 games in back to back seasons. He is rock
solid and a starter on any team that drafts him.
2008 Statistics:
20.6 Pts - 8.9 Reb - 2.3 Ast
2009 Projection: 19.8
Pts - 9.2 Reb - 2.2 Ast

9. LaMarcus Aldridge - Portland
I see his PPG going up because I do not think Oden has any resemblance
of an NBA ready post game. Although, teams will have to contend
with two big men and this should lead to some easy tip ins and buckets
for Aldridge. His future is bright and so is that of the Portland
Trailblazers.
2008 Statistics:
17.8 Pts - 7.5 Reb - 1.6 Ast
2009 Projection: 20.2
Pts - 9.4 Reb - 2.1 Ast
10. Emeka Okafor - Charlotte
This is the year Okafor actually steps up and live up to his draft
position. At least he played all 82 games and that in itself is
an accomplishment for Okafor. He needs to improve his bad FT% of
60% in order for him to get some easy points. Worst case scenario
for his owners, he averages 13/12/1.
2008 Statistics:
13.8 Pts -10.7 Reb - 0.9 Ast
2009 Projection: 17.8
Pts - 11.1 Reb - 1.4 Ast
